• Summary:Founded in 1982 by Pastor John Lawson and the Haynes family and located at 8529 Rutledge Pike since 1985, Circle Assembly expanded its sanctuary to seat about 700 and maintains a long-standing, mission-focused presence. The church supports over 30 international missionaries (including workers in Pakistan, India, Cambodia and Bangladesh), takes a special missionary offering the first Sunday of each month, and involves children and youth in mission giving through BGMC and Speed the Light while offering Royal Rangers, Girls Ministries, Rainbows, and a youth program (grades 6–12) that meets Sunday evenings for contemporary worship. Families will find a nursery during Sunday School, a children’s church for K–5 led by Miss Julie and Miss Tracy, monthly family-led Sunday evening children’s programs, and local outreach partnerships with Angelic Ministries, Teen Challenge of Knoxville, Isaiah 117 House and a homeless ministry. Services are livestreamed and posted on Facebook, YouTube and Rumble (with a Facebook feed on the website), online giving is available via SecureGive, prayer requests are lifted in corporate prayer before the Sunday evening service, and the church maintains a Deliverance Team described as the only one in the area.
