The congregation describes itself as multicultural, multigenerational, gospel-centered, disciplemaking, missional and Spirit-led, with a strong emphasis on church planting and international partnerships (including a Tokyo church plant); its full doctrinal statement— which includes believer’s baptism by immersion and a male-only pastoral office— is available on the website. Families will find a Kid’s Corner and age-appropriate curricula (The Gospel Project for toddlers–3rd grade and Desiring God for 4th–6th), while community life happens through Connect Groups and smaller Equip accountability groups across Northern Virginia (sign-ups via ChurchCenter), a weekly newsletter, Connect Card, and a prayer request form; volunteers complete background checks, arrive by 9:00 AM, serve about once or twice a month, and attend biannual trainings.
