• Summary:Valley View Reno meets Sundays at 10:30 AM for about 90 minutes of worship led by a team that blends contemporary and traditional music; childcare and age-specific activities are provided and there is an opportunity for fellowship after the service. Visitors can join small groups called Bible Engagement and attend a weekly Thursday prayer meeting at 10:30 AM; the church uses the Assemblies of God Bible Engagement Project curriculum for preschool, kids, and youth and maintains a sermon archive (no live stream at this time). The church is active locally and globally—supporting missionaries in the Philippines and Kenya, partnering with Convoy of Hope, operating the Dimensions food pantry (serving 200+ families Sunday mornings), running Freedom’s Road and a Biker Ministry, and doing regular outreach at events like Burning Man and Street Vibrations while planning a city-wide evangelism event with Luis Palau Ministries/Cityfest in 2025. Leadership is shared by three pastors, including Spiritual Formation Pastor Geneva Arnold (MDiv, DMin candidate) and Evangelism & Outreach Pastor Michael Williams (Christian rap artist), office hours are Tuesday–Thursday 10:00–4:00, and giving is available online, in person, or by mail.
